2022 World Cup Zsolt Kaposvari Memorial Competition

For each individual event:
Minimum six fencers from four World Abilitysport countries are needed to be an official event.
A fencer without an official international classification is not allowed to participate in an World Para Fencing competition.
The placing of competitors within each category is strictly according to the decision of the official classifiers authorities who have examined and classified each competitor before the competition.

Referee qualification:

International referee license is required

IWAS A/B

Referees must be provided based on the total number of athletes per tournament.

The required number of qualified referees must be entered into the inscription system before athletes can be added to the competition.

The referees activity is not paid by the organizer.

The referees of the delegations must always attend the Competitions, Tournaments or Championships from the beginning until the end of the last bout/match of the competiton. A penalty fee will be applied if they arrive too late or leave too early.

IWAS WF SPORT ASSEMBLY

The IWAS WF Sport Assembly will be held on Friday, 18 November 2022 at 20:30h in the official hotel ("Eger Room").


PARTY

After the competition, on Sunday, 20 November 2022 there will be a Party for all participants!


COVID-19 INFORMATION

LOC will finalize the Covid-19 protocol latest one month before the event.


VISA

If any teams need to apply for visa, please let the LOC know asap (by the website: https://eger2022.hparalimpia.hu) and they will send you a VISA invitation letter.

Note: Early application is advised for participants who required entry visa.


INSURANCE

All members of attending delegations should insure themselves in case of accidents, injuries or illness. The organizer will not accept any responsibility or financial loss or any other responsibility incurred by any of the participants whatsoever.

Remark:
The Accreditation Rates includes transportation from Budapest airport to Eger and back to Budapest airport.
The Room Rates also include 3 buffet style meals per day (from dinner on your arrival day until breakfast on your departure date)
The Accreditation Rates and Room Rates do not include the IWAS fee of £50 for each participant (athlete, official, staff, ...) which will be invoiced by IWAS after the competition.

The data from Entry Forms and Ophardt system must be consistent and current!

It is responsibility of the national federations to inform IWAS and the local Organizing Committee about any changes and keep all data up-to-date.

Invoices for entered participants (Accreditation Rates and Room Rates) will be sent to you by the local organizers.


PAYMENTS FOR ACCREDITATION AND ROOM RATES

All of accommodation (lunch, transportation) fee must be paid in full to the organizers directly by 16th October, 2022 using the following bank details:

The party making payment will be responsible for bank charges, if any.


LATE ENTRIES / REGISTRATIONS

In exceptional situations of
- the registration of accreditation and accommodation packages with the local organizers after 16 October 2022
- the registration of athletes and officials in Ophardt system after 28 October 2022
may be considered by LOC and IWAS, and may be accepted.
In this case a 20% penalty fee will be added to Accreditation Rates and Room Rates by the local organizers, and IWAS will charge a £150 late entry surcharge for each late entry.


CANCELLATION POLICY

Cancellations after the closing deadline for entries are only possible for medical reasons or force majeure, which have to be proved. The national federation must inform IWAS WF and the local organizers.

Any cancellation of ordered accommodation packages after 16th of October but before 1st of November will result in applying the cancellation fee: 75% of packages that have been ordered and cancelled.

Any cancellation of ordered accommodation packages after 1st of November will result in applying the cancellation fee: 100% of package that have been ordered and cancelled.


PAYMENT FOR IWAS REGISTRATION FEE

The World Abilitysport Registration Fee (50 GBP per person), a possible Late Entry Surcharge (150 GBP per person after the entry deadline and until 3 days before the competition, 250 GBP until the head of delegation meeting), the fine for missing referees (1.500 GBP per missing referee before and 2.000 GBP after the entry deadline) and possible other fines must be paid directly to World Para Fencing.

Please note that all fees and penalties payable to World Para Fencing will be invoiced AFTER THE COMPETITION.

The start times of individual and team events may be subject to change to another time on the same day after the final entry deadline, when the entry numbers of athletes and teams are known.
