The number of participants is unlimited.

For each individual event:
Minimum six fencers from four World Abilitysport countries are needed to be an official event.
A fencer without an official international classification is not allowed to participate in an World Para Fencing competition.
The placing of competitors within each category is strictly according to the decision of the official classifiers authorities who have examined and classified each competitor before the competition.

Referees must be provided based on the total number of athletes per tournament.

The referees activity is not paid by the organizer.

The referees of the delegations must always attend the Competitions, Tournaments or Championships from the beginning until the end of the last bout/match of the competiton. A penalty fee will be applied if they arrive too late or leave too early.

World Abilitysport retains the right to conduct random Anti-Doping testing at any World Para Fencing competition.

Remarks

CLASSIFICATION REASSESSMENT

All Male Category B as well as all Male and Female Category A athletes who have not yet been reassessed must submit an Athlete Reassessment application - including the MDF Form, Athlete Consent Form, and all supporting medical documentation - via the World Abilitysport Sports Management System (WA-SMS) by 4 August 2025.


Important:

Deadline: Failure to submit the required documentation by the 4 August 2025 will result in ineligibility to compete at this World Cup.

Limited Availability: Reassessment slots are limited and not guaranteed. They will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.

Submission Process: Once you have uploaded your athlete’s medical documentation to the WA-SMS, you must email [email protected] to confirm.


Assessment Dates: Classification reassessments will take place on 13 and 14 September 2025, before the World Cup.

Mandatory Attendance: Athletes applying for reassessment must be available from the morning of 13 September 2025.

Paper copies will not be accepted upon arrival – all documentation must be submitted in advance via WA-SMS.

Late entries for the competition are not eligible to be seen for reassessment and will not be considered.




NEUTRAL PARA ATHLETES (NPA)
As payment in lieu of the obligation to provide referees, a fee of 150 GBP will be charged per Neutral Para Athlete (NPA) entered, per competition entered (see "Neutral Athlete and Support Personnel Regulations" from 28 March 2024).


TEAM EVENTS

As previously announced during our Community Calls, a new team format will be tested at this World Cup.
Each team must consist of a minimum of 2 athletes (1 Category A and 1 Category B) and a maximum of 4 athletes (2 Category A and 2 Category B), all of the same gender.
All team matches will be played to 20 points.
The exact format and rules will be explained in detail at the Delegation Meeting, scheduled for the evening before the first competition day.


HEAD OF DELEGATION MEETING

Each participating federation must send 1 to 2 representatives to attend this meeting.
During the meeting, each federations must confirm all participants, as well as their individual and team entries, national anthem, and national flag.
The head of delegation meeting will be held on 14 September 2025 at 19.00h in the venue.

Note: Early application is advised for participants who required entry visa. It is the responsibility of the member association and organization to apply for the necessary visas in sufficient time and all the matters should be directed to the Embassy in charge.


INSURANCE

All members of attending delegations should insure themselves in case of accidents, injuries or illness. The organizer will not accept any responsibility or financial loss or any other responsibility incurred by any of the participants whatsoever.

All entries for athletes, referees, coaches and staff has to be done via the Ophardt system:

Remark: The Accreditation Rates and Room Rates do not include the World Abilitysport fee of £50 for each participant (athlete, official, staff, ...) which will be invoiced and has to be paid to World Abilitysport AFTER the competition.

The data from Entry Forms and Ophardt system must be consistent and current!
It is responsibility of the national federations to inform World Abilitysport AND the local Organizing Committee about any changes and keep all data up-to-date.

Invoices for entered participants (Accreditation Rates and Room Rates) will be sent once you have completed the booking section and has to be paid directly to the LOC using the bank details below.


TRANSPORTATION

The Room Rate includes the transfer from/to the Adi Soemarmo Airport Solo (SOC).

Transportation from other airports has to be discussed with the LOC.


PAYMENTS FOR ACCREDITATION, ROOM RATES AND TRANSPORTATION

The Accreditation Rate will allow competition accreditation only. Airport transfers, travel to venue, accommodation and food is NOT included.

The Room Rates will include accommodation and food (3 buffet style meals per day) in the official Hotels, as well as airport transfer to the hotel and transfer to the venue.

Day rates start from the dinner on the day of arrival and continues until breakfast on the day of departure.

Accreditation Rate and Room Rates must be paid directly to the local organizers until 4 AUGUST 2025

LATE ENTRIES / REGISTRATIONS

Late entries after the entry / registration deadline may be considered by LOC and World
Para Fencing, and may be accepted.
In this case a 20% penalty fee will be added to Accreditation Rates and Room Rates by the local organizers.
World Abilitysport will charge a £150 (12 September 2025 and after: £250) late entry surcharge for each late entry.


CANCELLATION POLICY
Cancellations after the closing deadline for entries are only possible for medical reasons or force majeure, which have to be proved. The national federation must inform World Abilitysport AND the local organizers.
Any cancellation of ordered accommodation packages after 4 August 2025 but before 18 August 2025 will result in applying the cancellation fee:
75% of packages that have been ordered and cancelled.
Any cancellation of ordered accommodation packages after 18 August 2025 will result in applying the cancellation fee:
100% of package that have been ordered and cancelled.


ACCREDITATIONS

Only accredited persons can enter the competitions areas.
Individual accreditations will be issued and will be required during the competitions.


WORLD ABILITYSPORT FEES

The World Abilitysport Registration Fee (50 GBP per person), a possible Late Entry Surcharge (150 GBP per person after the entry deadline and until 3 days before the competition, 250 GBP until the head of delegation meeting), the fine for missing referees (1.500 GBP per missing referee before and 2.000 GBP after the entry deadline) and possible other fines must be paid directly to World Para Fencing.

Please note that all fees and penalties payable to World Para Fencing will be invoiced AFTER THE COMPETITION.

The start times of individual and team events may be subject to change to another time on the same day after the final entry deadline, when the entry numbers of athletes and teams are known.
