For each individual event:
Minimum six fencers from four World Abilitysport countries are needed to be an official event.
A fencer without an official international classification is not allowed to participate in an World Para Fencing competition.
The placing of competitors within each category is strictly according to the decision of the official classifiers authorities who have examined and classified each competitor before the competition.

Referees must be provided based on the total number of athletes per event.

The required number of qualified referees must be entered into the inscription system before athletes can be added to the competition.

The referees of the delegations must always attend the Competitions, Tournaments or Championships from the beginning until the end of the last bout/match of the competiton. A penalty fee will be applied if they arrive too late or leave too early.

In order to enter/return to Brazil, you must:
1. present to the carrier and any other authorized person, a certificate showing proof of a negative result of a molecular test carried out by means of a swab in the 48 hours prior to your arrival, or 24 hours if you undergo an antigen test.

2. present to the carrier and any other authorized person, a proof showing that you have been vaccinated against COVID-19 with an Brazilian authorized vaccine and you have completed the prescribed vaccination cycle since at least fourteen days.

If you wish to enter Brazil without having a certificate of vaccination or recovery, you must:

Stay in quarantine for 7 days and make a new antigen test. If negative, you are free to quit the quarantine. In positive case, you need to quarantine for more 7 days.

COVID-19 RULES DURING WHEELCHAIR FENCING SAO PAULO WORLD CUP
To access the competition venue and every 48 hours, each authorized person must, at his own expense (€25 each one), undergo an antigenic test and only those who submit a negative result can be accredited.

The COVID-19 test fee of 25 Euro for each test has to be paid on-site by cash or credit card. It takes approximately 10 minutes for getting the test result.

All members of attending delegations should insure themselves in case of accidents, injuries or illness. The organizer will not accept any responsibility or financial loss or any other responsibility incurred by any of the participants whatsoever.

The party making payment will be responsible for bank charges, if any.

The Room Rate includes:
- accommodation for 3-6 nights between 12-18 April 2022
- all meals from dinner on arrival day until breakfast on departure day (served at the hotel; lunch will be served at competition venue during the competition)
- transportation between International Airport and official hotels
- transportation between official hotels and competition venue

Late Accreditation Fees / Room Rates will apply after 25 March 2022: 20% penalty fee added to the regular fee.

IMPORTANT NOTE
In Brazil, moral and sexual harassment, prejudice and discrimination based on religion, race, gender or sexual orientation is a crime. Any situation that occurs in the competition will be reported to the police authorities.

The World Abilitysport Registration Fee (50 GBP per person), a possible Late Entry Surcharge (150 GBP per person after the entry deadline and until 3 days before the competition, 250 GBP until the head of delegation meeting), the fine for missing referees (1.500 GBP per missing referee before and 2.000 GBP after the entry deadline) and possible other fines must be paid directly to World Para Fencing.

Please note that all fees and penalties payable to World Para Fencing will be invoiced AFTER THE COMPETITION.

The start times of individual and team events may be subject to change to another time on the same day after the final entry deadline, when the entry numbers of athletes and teams are known.
